Hi! This is Esther. I was born on the Caribbean twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. From birth I was exposed to fashion and designing. You see, my mother was an accomplished seamstress who operated one of those old fashion manual peddle machine. My older sister also got involved with sewing and excelled. It’s against this backdrop, my career evolved. As a teenager, after school I would hang around her studio giving assistance and ideas. I've always had a creative mind, so I would always give her ideas on how to make something simple look elaborate. Upon noticing my talent, when I finished school I became her apprentice. She loved working with cotton, so this gave us a chance to really use our creativity, we dyed, banana stain, stone wash etc.
Tobago is an island rich with natural beauty. I’ve always love and admired nature, the bright rise of the sun at morn and the arrays made upon its decent at dusk, the beauty of the rainbow, the different shapes and shades of the leaves, radiant flowers, the majestic colors of the butterfly, the mesmerizing aura of the waterfalls, the captivating view of the oceans.
This offered me an exotic source of ideas and creativity. I was not afraid to experiment with colors, textures and materials, mostly natural elements. Consequently, tie-_dye and fabric painting featured prominently in my repertoire. I was not afraid of making mistakes since most mistakes, in my view, turn out to be masterpieces. Armed with enthusiasm and a new and natural creativity I migrated to Trinidad, where I took extensive classes to develop a formal understanding of the work I was producing. While in Trinidad, I was introduced to the art of Batik, a very technical form of creating art which really challenge the creativity.
With the added skills which I acquired from Trinidad, I left for the island of Grenada.
Grenada is popular destination due to its unique land marks. The uniqueness of these land marks only heightened my creative prowess. Here I produced some of my greatest pieces ever. I focused primarily on producing tie-dye and fabric painted garments mainly for tourists. I might add, my dresses won Best Dress in the annual Carnival Queen Contest three times. During my time in Grenada, I designed whole ensembles for bridal parties, bank and hotel uniforms and individuals.

Finally I left Grenada for the United States. Here I observed that people seemed rather fanatical about the accessories they wore. With my back ground in creating from “nothing”, coupled with my somewhat reckless adventurism in designing, I ventured into earring designing. After some tinkering my creations have developed into unique and original, artisan designed earrings that fit on your body like a sculpture.
We have created countless designs for all women and for any conceived occasion. Of course, these one-of-a-kind pieces can only be found at Esthers Creations Inc. One of my most gratifying moments is when my earrings were featured in PASSION MAGAZINES. At this juncture Esthers Creations will only go on creating and creating.
